All sl5 servers should be upgraded to the latest sl5 kernel. This update, along with an update to openafs will come shortly.
It was agreed that increasing AFS cache space to 8GB was a good idea for new machines but it would not be necessary to retrospectively make the change to existing machines.
Stephen has provided notes on adding to the weekly tests, component schema changes and SVN branching.
It was agreed that using afs was not the most appropriate way of distribution therefore RAT will create a project to evaluate the most suitable technology (e.g. BitTorrent) for content distribution. Tim will also follow up the issue of last minute teaching requests with Stuart.
The cause of the problem is still unknown. Although it's unlikely to be a factor, Ian suggested that Alastair check when bakerloo first started having problems. It has been switched off since Monday. Neil mentioned that

Rather than create a CO header, it was suggested that the US Unit should create a VM student lab development machine.
It was agreed that the Inf Unit should look into splitting the ipfilter header with input from the RAT Unit regarding the exam lockdown requirements.
