Craig reported that there are actually two password portals, and that they handled metacharacters differently! They have been fixed.
In Alison's absence, this action was passed to Craig
Some reduction achieved. Defer action to July for another check.
Craig has almost finished incorporating comments, and hopes to circulate soon. Action amended.
Iain should have a 32-bit-library-on-64-bit-machine version of the ICE libraries very soon for those who really want it. Action considered to be done.
No response yet. Toby will prod.

Report from Computing Executive Group
Alastair would like names no later than 1st March, and the sooner the better for the conference dinner (which is likely to be oversubscribed).
Reports from units.
This has failed three times in the last week. On each occasion it has been called in, and Works have sent someone round to reset the unit. Cooling for the room was added as an afterthought, and was seriously under-specified. The consequences of the UPSes in the room overheating are that the batteries are likely to cook again, requiring (E&B to pay for) an expensive replacement; and ultimately if the UPSes shut down then all the power to the Forum floorboxes, the IT closets, and the server room CCUs would go off.
All should now start to plan to move off VMware
The issue of remote access to COs' desktop machines was raised. MP-unit will consider this further, as these may have more vulnerable configurations running on them than would be the case for "normal" desktops.
Stephen and Graham will consider how this might affect exam machines.
These are just on SL6 for now.
There had been SSL issues on F13 and SL6, but these may now be fixed. RaT-unit will try SL6 ColTeX again.
