Topics for discussion
Use of University certificates is causing more and more problems with modern browsers. There was general agreement that we will need to switch to using Janet certificates at some point though thought will have to be given as to how to manage this change. One suggestion was to obtain our own intermediate certificate. Toby will investigate this possibility. It was also noted that a wildcard certificate would be useful for testing new services.
This is one more aspect of the can of worms that is visitor accounts. As such, it will be discussed at the meeting about visitor accounts that Alison is setting up (see Actions Discussed).
Lindsey asked whether the seminar mailing list, which is currently managed by hand, could be changed to include category specific user lists (allowing them to opt out of being told abotu seminars if they wish). RAT will look into generating such lists.
The next meeting will be on 26th November 2014 at 10:00, in IF-4.31
