These were accepted as a reasonable account of the last meeting.
Covered under CEG report
ECA have a new server room coming, and would prefer not to have to move the tape library more than once.
(Post meeting: Craig and Tim have discussed this. It looks as though it would still be a good idea. Action to be reverted to Tim.)
The existing UPSes are going to be repaired "shortly", and there's currently no sign of any replacement. Defer this again meantime.
Seems OK at the moment, so no need to revive this action this time.

George and Graham (and anyone else interested) to discuss IPv6 in the student labs nearer the time (deferred action).
Following discussion of the exam dates in the US report (see below), Toby reckoned it would be safer to postpone the move of the prometheus master to SL7.
There are currently 153 active SL6 profiles. Please delete any inactive ones.
It's OK to try this for servers, and indeed it probably makes sense for new SL6-to-SL7 upgrades to go straight to 7.3. Note, though, that it still does have the sssd enumeration problem.
There seems to be some bug (this one or this one?) in acpi processing. MPU had noticed something which sounded similar. Only some particular hardware and/or models seem to be affected. Turning off hyperthreading might help (and would be on RAT's list for a small-number-of-fast-cores machine anyway). It might also help to turn off the BIOS ACPI setting.
This had been mentioned in the chatroom. Bonding other than eth0 and eth1 works for MPU, so sounds like something specific to the machine's configuration. RedHat do seem to prefer "teaming" to bonding these days.
Craig is still looking into libreoffice problems with this
