Topics for discussion
As things stand we generate both forward and reverse SLAAC-style DNS entries for client wires, but only reverse entries for server wires. After some discussion, it was agreed that it is too early for the server wire to be to be configured the same as the client wire. However, we agreed that a deadline should be set for this which will allow time for further testing. The end of January 2018 was agreed.
It was suggested that there should be a post mortem of the recent KVM server crash with a view to possibly publishing a blog article. Stephen noted that he had not found anything so far in the logs that explained what had happened.
Stephen noted that there are still a large number of sl6 profiles. Could people please get rid of profiles that are no longer required.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday 12th July at 10:00, in IF-4.31, chaired by Craig.
