Minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday 28th March 2018 in IF-4.31

    1. JCMB power-down, Sat 7th Apr

      It was agreed at the meeting that Option 1 (set all of the directly-powered bars' outlets to turn on only after such time as we think the UPSes will have recharged ...). See Infrastructure report for further details. ASOAS is likely to limit CO participation over the weekend to emergency action only. Each Unit is to prepare a report providing a list of machines that they manage along with details of when the machine will be turned off by the end of the week.

    2. Forum power-down, Sat 14th Apr

      The SMSR will be powered off on Friday afternoon. Power will be brought back on Monday morning. ASOAS is likely to limit CO participation over the weekend to emergency action only. Each Unit is to prepare a report providing a list of machines and services that will be affected along with power-down times and plans for any alternative solutions (where appropriate). Subsequent to the meeting, George has confirmed that the 32/33 wire is not carried in AT. We will consider whether this necessary before the power-down weekend.
