  Neil asked if we were expecting to hear any further details of last week's network issues. Alastair replied that he believed the issue had been an unexpected interaction between the test and production network infrastructures. Ian noted that he had mailed James Jarvis asking where the report on this incident will be published. He has yet to receive a reply.
- Managed Platform
  - Ubuntu network configuration
  - IPv6 on Ubuntu
  - Ubuntu package service
  - "dsu" on Ubuntu servers
  Stephen also noted that it is intended that the 9th of December will see the last stable release before the Christmas break.
- Research and Teaching

  Nik was welcomed to the Unit.

  1. Forum Level 1 colour MFD
  Neil noted that we appear to still have some defunct web hosting domains in our DNS zone files. He will send a list to the Inf Unit.
