These documents cover the administration of the Unit PostgreSQL service, comprising the Teaching and Research servers pgteach and pgresearch.
Each postgresql server consists of two components: the database server itself, and the account management configuration provided by pgluser. The service is defined by the dice/options/postgresql-[teaching|research]-server headers, which inherit from dice/options/postgresql-RAT-server most of the basic postgresql and pgluser configuration. User management procedures are covered separately, below.
